TotalEnergies Lubricants Expands Retailer and Garage Mechanic Meets Across Nepal

Laxmi Lube Oil Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of TotalEnergies lubricants in Nepal, has expanded its “Retailer and Private Garage Mechanic Meet 2026” to several major cities across the country.

The company said more than 700 retailers, dealers and private garage mechanics participated in the programs held in Birtamode, Itahari, Biratnagar, Birgunj and Chitwan.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening direct engagement with automotive retailers and technical professionals. Rather than focusing solely on product promotion, the programs were structured around discussions, technical knowledge sharing and feedback from professionals working in the automotive aftermarket.

Discussions covered lubricant selection based on vehicle requirements, engine technology, operating conditions and manufacturer recommendations. Participants also discussed market conditions, customer preferences and practical considerations related to lubricant usage.

According to Laxmi Lube Oil, the Birtamode program attracted more than 100 participants, while over 90 attended in Itahari and more than 110 in Biratnagar. Birgunj and Chitwan each recorded more than 200 participants, taking the combined attendance across the five cities to more than 700.

The programs also included technical sessions covering TotalEnergies lubricant products and their applications. Particular emphasis was placed on choosing the appropriate viscosity and lubricant grade according to the vehicle and engine specifications.

Retailers and mechanics participating in the events also shared their practical experiences and feedback on the use of TotalEnergies products.

Alongside the retailer and mechanic meets, Laxmi Lube Oil has been conducting its “Garage Chautari” initiative, which brings together garage owners, mechanics and other automotive professionals for technical discussions and experience sharing.

Following the programs in Birtamode, Itahari, Biratnagar, Birgunj and Chitwan, the company plans to take the “Retailer and Private Garage Mechanic Meet 2026” to other major cities in Nepal in the coming days.
